FLEMINGTON, N.J., Jan. 16 (UPI) --
A child custody hearing for a 3-year-old boy named after Adolf Hitler and his two sisters has been postponed, New Jersey authorities said.
Heath and Deborah Campbell, who live in rural Hunterdon County in the western part of the state, gained national attention when they complained in December that a grocery store refused to put their son's name on his birthday cake. The Campbells claimed that they are not admirers of Hitler, although one of their daughters has Aryan Nation as her middle names.
Court officials said that the hearing set for Thursday had been delayed and did not have a new date, the Easton, Pa., Express-Times reported. The New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services has refused to say why they removed the children from their parents' home.
The public and reporters would not be allowed in any hearing.
