The Morning Show With Mike and Juliet Parent Alienation Syndrome

I watched a lot and read a lot of the contriversey on PA/PAS.

This clip - The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet » Blog Archive » Parental Alienation Syndrome- really pushed me over the edge -- I believe in both parents rights..

EVEN THOUGH I AM A SURVIVOR OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE..

I AM NOT A FEMINAZI!

I don't have an agenda and I'm working my ass of to end the gender war- because I know

MY CHILDREN ARE MUCH MORE IMPORTANT TO ME THAT MY NEED TO BE CALLED A "VICTIM OF D.V. OR A WOMAN THAT BELLIEVES IN FATHERS RIGHTS"

The courts NEED to DIVIDE in order to CONQUER!

HELLOOOOO IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE -- LISTENING??

So with that said -- I wrote to many talk shows today and left this message --

I am a survivor of Domestic Violence and I would like to ask if you would be interested in doing a show with victims of Domestic Violence who were alienated from their children because of the alienators money or power

Alternatively, just victims of horrible lawlessness courts, false allegations by the abuser and so on.

I belong to a group Voices of women and last week when they were talking about sabotaging Alec Baldwin's appearances I stood up and said -

WAIT, WAIT WAIT!

You have three members here that are living proof that parent alienation is REAL -

You shouldn't bash Alec if you know it happens to women as well and it's very real.

Why aren't you (VOW or NOW) protecting those of us survivors that KNOW more about the topic than many therapists?

I think having a show with WOMEN who have been both survivors of DV and PAS would get the facts out there and NOT be a gender/abuser show -- we can save that for Jerry!

If they keep doing shows on parent alienation with hard core fathers or mothers rights people the truth won't get out there..

Try something different - DV Survivors that agree with the fathers that are being accused of being abusers hiding behind PAS.

Don't get me wrong - there is a hint of truth in the fact that abusers MAY try to use PAS as a cover - but there are REAL abused children out there .. so does the fact that vindictive people falsely call child protective services negate the FACT that child abuse is real?

I just recently became aware of the PA/PAS controversy because one of the bloggers I follow sent some draft info out on that topic. Alec Baldwin described it well on the View (if you got past all the BS before he got on). OK, the academic history of PAS, may have legal abuse issues, that doesn't make what is happening to Alec and so many other's of no value. Alec said who cares what you call it PA or PAS. The fact is none of us condone DV perpetrators or pedophiles from using PAS as a technical legal argument to further their abuse, so on that we agree (with the feminatz's at N.O.W.). But the people at N.O.W. refuse to recognize that PA is real and even women such as you and the other guest with Alec on the View are terribly affected by it. This is just more proof that the women at N.O.W are radicals far out of touch with the women they supposedly represent.

The argument that a legal concept can be abused justifies nothing, the whole damn legal system is abused all the time. We could get rid of lots of things with that argument. But the femanatiz at N.O.W are like a brick wall, there's no getting through to them with reason. Maybe we should even get rid of the PA initials and call it something completely different.

Alec also explained PA well in that "normal parenting" becomes a basis for the alienater to make false accusations of abuse. These lies are never punished and that is the problems. Alienaters should not just be believed, and when found to be groundless they should be aggressively prosecuted, IMHO. Alec suggested immediate 50/50 shared parenting when the divorce is filed and compulsory therapy ordered as soon as one parent reports a complaint of PA.

They did have a mother victim of PA on the View, who hasn't seen her children for 3 years and has them turned against her by their father. While many victims of PA are father's this isn't a gender issue, you and many other PA victims are women. This is not in the best interest of the children to be estranged from a loving parent.

And lying and getting away with it because of a lazy court, whether it be by a DV using the PAS argument to continue abuse or by an alienater who commits PA onto a loving parent is wrong and should be punished.

Hopefully the stupidity of the N.O.W. argument on PAS will get the publicity it needs to show it for what it really is.
