Jury Selection Begins In Nixzmary Brown Murder Trial

Cesar Rodriguez Charged With Murder

MyFoxNY.com -- The man charged with repeatedly beating a seven year old girl and ultimately killing her will soon go on trial. Jury selection begins Tuesday in the murder trial of Nixzmary Brown. The little girl was found naked and tied to a chair with the belt used to beat her inside her home in Brooklyn.

Cesar Rodriguez, 29-- Nixzmary's stepfather-- is charged with murder. Rodriquez's lawyer will reportedly say his client used the same ways to discipline the unruly girl that his father had used on him.

The girl's mother-- Nixzaliz Santiago, 29-- is also facing charges in the girl's murder.
