Motorcycle Season Begins!








This post is off topic .. however it's important to me that I share the road with others that ride safe! So here it is...

The warm weather is here and that means it’s time to get out on the open road and be free! There have been some exciting developments at MSS and the New York State Motorcycle Program!

Motorcycle Safety Foundation has won the DMV bid to administer the NYS Motorcycle Program for the next five years!

MSS Offers a New Intermediate RiderCourse!
A new 6 hour course allows Basic RiderCourse graduates and licensed riders a chance to brush up on their skills after the winter. We provide the motorcycles and all you have to do is show up in proper riding gear. Course costs is $150 and weekend classes begin May 10, 2009.

Experienced RiderCourse
Bring your own motorcycle and a passenger (if you want to) to practice motorcycle maneuvers at slow speeds. This 6 hour course is offered at Ulster Community College and costs $120. Our first class is April 19, 2009.

My Two Cents-

There is absolutely NO affiliation between this web site and Ridemss. I posted this as a courtesy to the 300+ readers I get a day.. perhaps one or more of them is one of those riders out on a suicide mission passing me at 150.. just maybe if they see this .. they'll take the class and let me live another year longer on the road (smile)
