KOTV- Doing an investigative report on problems with DHS

KOTV channel 6, Tulsa is going to be doing an investigative report on the problems at DHS.

The media has resisted reporting much of the truth here in Ok and that can no longer be allowed. If enough people would push the media maybe we could get them to really investigate more and report the truth no matter who it embarrasses.

With multiple civil rights lawsuits including the class action, the Medicaid and IRS lawsuits, Rep. Morrissette's call for full formal hearings on DHS , the Rogers Co. Grand Jury, the Kiowa Co. Grand Jury, the Hall case, the S.A.N.E. Nurse (States Expert Witness) who has been exposed for committing perjury and possibly more in child abuse cases in Ok. and Tex., etc. public interest is growing, and we must keep it growing.

We must bring this issue to the forefront, DHS must be audited and investigated, top to bottom and inside out. About two years ago there was an audit of the Office of Juvenile Affairs tthat revealed "problems" regarding contracts with service providers. The director of the OJA was fired but the information from the audit was not revealed that I know of.

Below is a case involving Howard Hendricks director of DHS, this would seem to be a good place to start looking into DHS. There is also the question of why a DHS supervisor involved in a terrible case that resulted in the death of a young child and a multi-million dollar wrongful death lawsuit (No. CJ-2003-6690) is still at DHS deciding the fate of children here in Tulsa.

Please consider contacting KOTV and ask them to look into either one of these issues. With enough people asking about specific issues they'll be less likely to ignore them. We must push the media to investigate and report the truth. And if they will not then we need to let their advertisers know how we feel about the situation.

There has never been a better time for change in Ok. and it's never been more needed, Children are injured, abused, and dead, families destroyed, lives ruined, and it's looking more and more like many are profiting from this in many ways, it has to stop.

This is the title page and pleading from a court case that could answer some questions regarding DHS. This case was dismissed, appealed, went to the OK. Supreme Court, and was then sent back to the appeals court. It was still pending last I knew. The company involved is in NY.. They do background checks. News 9 in OKC. had an article regarding questions about background checks not being done at DHS. I have tried to get some reporters to cover this but they will not. This is one more indicator that there needs to be an audit and full investigation of DHS and all those involved.
