Especially when we are currently facing an epidemic of obesity and diabetes in the nation, but especially with our children. The news media is constantly stressing that concern, yet they are in turn totally ignoring the primary contributor to the epidemic, (more children on more medications). In my recent release, “Antidepressants, Antipsychotics and Stimulants – Dangerous Drugs on Trial”, I show exactly how not just the antipsychotics such as Zyprexa, but also SSRI antidepressants such as Prozac (also promoted by Eli Lilly, for our kids), are responsible. In combination, they spell double trouble, and many children are being placed on both. In fact, one side effect of Prozac (that many children are placed on initially) just happens to be the bipolar disorder – a condition Zyprexa is in turn being promoted for. Our children have become their victims, although to them they are just a very lucrative market.
A complete overhaul of the FDA might very well be necessary. They have become a defender and co-promoter of potentially dangerous drugs, rather than a true regulator. It’s only after thousands die, and they are experiencing considerable pressure, that the FDA finally either recommends a Black Box warning, (which is often ignored), or in extreme cases that a drug finally be pulled.
In my opinion, the majority of antipsychotics currently being promoted under the federally mandated TeenScreen “scam” fall under that category, (drugs too dangerous to remain on the market). In my recent release I provide ample proof that they are “far more dangerous” than the Vioxx, which was recently pulled due to its increased risk of a heart attack.
The industry’s obvious strategy is, first get someone on one drug, and then make sure to create more drugs to deal with their well-known side effects. A drug such as Prozac, for instance, with its hundreds of potential side effects, is a real moneymaker. As a matter of fact, Eli Lilly could actually give Prozac away – free of charge – and still make money just selling drugs for Prozac’s side effects. When will such obvious corruption and injustice ever end?Dr. David W. Tanton, Ph.D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/16788048616804653751noreply@blogger.com
